The Impractical Jokers Stopped Into La Fiesta, Here’s What Happened:

TROY – The Impractical Jokers stopped into La Fiesta on Wednesday night to wrap up a few final scenes for Season 10 of the show, which kicks off in late June.

The Impractical Jokers cast includes Brian “Q” Quinn, James “Murr” Murray and Sal Vulcano. The team also recently “amicably parted ways” with lifelong jokester Joe Gatto so he could focus on cleaning up a disastrous divorce, which is a good call since he was by far the least funny member of the group. Regardless, the team really stepped up their shithousery for Season 10 because their show is the only relevant program on TruTV and they have a lot of weight to carry for their network.

Their visit kicked off with a “chip scoop challenge,” which tasked the Jokers with stealing as many scoops of salsa from another patron’s table without getting caught. Bonus points were awarded for queso and guac scoops. This challenge was generally harmless but really pissed off a few people, who flagged this behavior to La Fiesta staff. Fortunately, the Jokesters were let off with a warning so they could continue being generally annoying and disruptive.

The next challenge consisted of stealing sips of margaritas with extremely large curly straws. Murr was already wasted from the tequila shot he was given by his server, after lying that it was his birthday so the staff would sing to him. Unfortunately, he was terrible at this challenge and accidentally poked a retired military general in the eye with a straw, who broke Murr’s arms on the spot. Fortunately, Kettering Health Troy is directly across the street so Murr could get fixed up in time for the flight home.

With Murr hospitalized, the team was quickly down to 2 finalists. This made the stakes extremely high for the final challenge, which had Q and Sal pour Complementario salsa down their pants and pretend that they shit themselves. They each had to ask the hostess for assistance cleaning themselves without breaking laughter. Q really struggled with this challenge because he had a romantic interest in the hostess, leading to a full round of thumbs down, making him the loser for this set of challenges.

Q’s punishment was extremely embarrassing, requiring him to wear a sombrero to join the staff members as they sang birthday songs to their patrons. Q was also forced to sing in an offensive and inaccurate accent, which had the staff kindly ask him to leave the building. On his way out, Q stole a scoop of fried ice cream from a child celebrating her birthday, earning Q some bonus clout for the show.

The episode is expected to run in late August on TruTV. Be sure to record the show on your DVR for a classic Troy appearance on national TV! Subscribe to the Miami County Bugle Caller for more updates on local happenings.
